BLAST OFF your Independence Day celebration with the Village of Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department at Robert E Glazebrook Park located at 1401 Stamper Lane. Beginning at 5 pm with activities continuing through until the FIREWORKS at 9:15 pm. Volunteers and vendors should contact the Godfrey Parks office at 618-466-1483 as soon as possible to register to participate in this great, family fun event. 4th of July Celebration (Highland)
July 5, 2024 at Dusk at Korte Rec Center
We will have bathrooms available to use on the grounds of the Korte Rec Center. The Korte Rec Center will not be open. There will be NO band or food on the site of the Korte Rec Center for the July 4th Fireworks. We will have multiple port-a-potties on site of the Korte Rec Center/Glik Park area. Glik Park bathrooms will be open for July 4th. The fireworks will start at dusk and run for about 20-30 minutes. The walking trail on Koepfli Rd will be closed the entire day of Tuesday, July 4th. Starting at 7:00am on July 4th the road between the Highland Cemetery and the intersection of Koepfli and Sportsman Rd will be closed. The road will be open Wednesday, July 5th by 5:00am
