Every other Monday join library friends for stories, songs, crafts, rhymes, and more! Storytime builds your Pre-K kiddos’ literacy skills to help them prep for Kindergarten and 1st grade!

Kids 5 and younger can join Miss Lindsey at the Round House for stories and tumbling. This is a free event, open to anyone. We are excited to be partnering with Wood River Parks & Recreation for this great program! At the Round House (633 N Wood River Ave).

: Tuesdays at 10am. Enjoy stories, songs, and bubbles with your little one and story time friends each week. Geared for babies 1 year old and younger at Edwardsville Public Library.

Join Ms. Mary Kay and Panda Bear in an interactive story time for children ages 0-5. Enjoy stories, songs, an occasional puppet show, and a snack. Limited space is available. With Ms. Mary Kay at Hayner Downtown Library (Belle Street 326 Alton). Please register at (618) 462-0677, ext. 2836.

Weekly storytimes build children’s early literacy skills with stories, songs, movement, and crafts. Program lasts 30 minutes followed by craft time. at Bethalto Public Library.

(Alton): Every Tuesday from 5- 6:30pm in the downstairs classroom. August theme: Students will learn to create sculptures and clay pots using coil building and hand building techniques alongside cutting and pasting. at Jacoby Arts Center.

Songs and Stories. At Collinsville Library.

Join us each month for a story, craft, and activity with a central theme. No cost or registration. Best suited for children 18mo-3yr. At Wood River Public Library.

Open to Newborns up to 12 Months. Interactive Storytime for Baby and Caregiver. Lap-Sit Program. FREE. Registration is Open – Call or Stop by at Maryville Community Library to Register.

$7/child. At Prima Dance and Tumbling. Enjoy the bounce house, roller coaster, trampoline, balance beam, balls and a climber with a slide. Suggested age 12 months to 5 years, but there aren’t set ages. Prima asks that older children are respectful of younger. Pre-registration required on website under “Register Online for Ballet and Tumbling” then “Toddler Open Play”.

This story time is geared towards children 0-5, but older children are welcome. At Tri-Township Library (209 S Main St).

At Bethalto Public Library for ages birth to 18 months. Stories, songs, movement, and playtime.

At Alton Square Mall (Hayner Public Library District) for ages 2-5. Includes craft time.

Obstacle Course that changes weekly. Adult Caregivers supervise their kiddos with instructors nearby to assist. Geared for 2-6 year olds. Price $8.00 per child. Enroll per weekly session or use a punch pass. At Pride of Illinois Gymnastics.

Preschool Story Time If you're ready for a story, clap your hands! Ms. Megan will be sharing fun tales & tunes every week, and don't forget - BUBBLES! Designed for 3-5 year olds.

Weekly on Thursdays at Fairmont City Library Center (4444 Collinsville Rd). Mindfulness Activities (for kindness, focus, and calm) with art and crafts expressions.

Weekly on Thursday at Heroic Adventures (1005 & 1007 Century Dr). Open Play is free.

We will be meeting once again at the Wood River Public Library in the upstairs program room! Join us for 30 minutes of dancing, movement, and fun! Geared towards children 5 and younger, but all are invited to play with bubbles and dance to kid friendly, dance-worthy music every week at 9:30. Masks are required for those aged 2 and up. 8 years and under. There is a play area with water slides. It is open for members and non-members. Reserve a spot online or call (618)651-1386. Members are Free and Non-Members $1 discount off daily admission. Non members with discount – Adults: $7.50 ($6.50 for ages 60+) and Youth: $6.50. Children 2 and under are FREE with a paying adult. At Korte Rec Center in Highland

Moms is a group for mothers of all ages, with children from birth to teenagers. It runs from September to May. Registration is $80 total (split into two payments) or $75 if you pay in full. The fee includes book, membership packet, activity supplies, and children’s program supplies. Children can be dropped off at 8:45am. Children’s program is provided by First Baptist Maryville Preschool Ministry (Discovery Town). At First Baptist Maryville (7110 Illinois 162 Maryville).
