Kids at Summer Immersion Program is a live, virtual, 2-week introductory computer science course for current eligible 9th, 10th, and 11th grade US students and international students ages 14-18. SIP participants learn web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while getting an inside look into the tech industry through incredible company partners. In addition to a completely free program, we offer grants up to $500 and tech support for qualifying students.
The Self-Paced Program is a 6-week flexible computer science course for current eligible 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade US students (including SIP alumni and graduating seniors) and international students ages 14-18 who prefer not to adhere to a set schedule. Self-Paced Program participants can choose to earn beginner-level badges in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development or an intermediate-level badge in Python for cybersecurity. Students will also have the opportunity to build community through weekly live advisory sessions and Girls Who Code activities.
Camp Waterschool Water, Water Everywhere! We use it every day but have you ever stopped to think about where it comes from? How much we have on the planet? In this camp, we will discover and explore water using our local rivers as inspiration. Through hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures, campers will see our local rivers in a whole new way. The week will include a visit to a working lock and dam, stream walks, and will culminate with a canoe trip led by experienced guides. By reflecting on their personal experiences with the river, campers will appreciate how they can make positive differences in their watershed and community. Join Jr. Goshen Theatre Project, for a 2 week full experience
summer theatre camp. Campers have the opportunity to learn the entire process of performing in a fully staged musical. Beginning with how to audition, campers will also learn about acting, staging, lighting, set and costumes - everything you need for a full scale production. Camp runs 9am-4pm daily.
Camp and camp performances will take place at the Goshen Theatre Project Headquarters at 114 West Main Street, Collinsville IL. Camp Registration is conducted on a first-come first-serve basis.

Summer Dance Intensive is a week of classes in contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop and partnering. Seminars will be available in dance conditioning, injury prevention and more! This seminar is geared toward intermediate and advanced dancers.
Kahok Sports Camps 2nd-5th Graders practice from 8:00 - 10:00 am for $20. 6th-9th Graders practice from 10:30 - 1:00 pm for $40. At Self Defense Camp, Kids will learn what behaviors to watch for and practice how to escape to safety. They will also learn important strategies to help avoid violent situations, plus tactics and techniques for handling violence when it is unavoidable. This class is for students with any level of knowledge or skill, beginner to advanced. Students will acquire in-depth knowledge of self-protection while increasing overall fitness through practical drills. Participants will receive an informational packet with descriptions of the techniques covered in class plus at-home tips for parents. On the final day, the students will do a final review plus participate in an “escape and evasion” course and a confidence-boosting “board breaking

Beverly Farms Riding Camp Make it a fun-filled summer on horseback! Kids have fun while advancing their skills. Each day is filled with fun activities and a riding lesson. Beginner students with less than one year of horse experience learn the basics of horsemanship. Intermediate students expand on foundational knowledge. The beginner camps are a fun and engaging introduction to the fundamentals of piano playing (posture, fingering, piano geography) and basic music theory (rhythm, notes, staffs, dynamics etc.). Students also learn about various composers and music genres in a fun and engaging way. The camp is broken into two 50-minute sessions of classes of piano and music theory. South St. Louis Location. Enrollment begins March 1.

Summer Jazz Camp is available for students of all experience levels. Campers will learn performance and improvisation techniques from faculty members in the SIUE jazz department. Students will work on mastering the fundamentals of jazz improvisation with some of the areas top performers and educators through combo rehearsals, master classes, and jam sessions.
To close out the week, the students will perform a Friends and Family concert in Dunham Hall room 1109 at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24. Camp Notes: The first day of camp will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21. If you still have paperwork to submit, it is recommended that you arrive early. Each day begins at 9:30 a.m. The daily schedule will consist of group rehearsals, master classes and jam sessions. Family and friends are invited to the concluding concert at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24, in Dunham Hall, Room 1109. Parents may begin picking up attendees at 3:30 p.m. each day. If you purchased a parking tag, you may park in Lot E. All others should pay to park in the visitor's lot. For a printable map of campus, visit siue.edu/maps. Flute Camp for any middle school or junior high school wind or percussion student, grades 6-10. Activities focus on developing individual and ensemble instrumental performance skills; exposure to varied musical activities: performances, clinics, and sectionals by SIUE faculty and students, developing rhythmic and melodic reading skills, tone quality, intonation, phrasing, and style, embouchure, posture, hand position, and practice habits. We have individualized instruction through a large ensemble experience, exploring widely varied musical literature, ending with a final concert for family and friends.
String Development Camp is a music camp for violin, viola and cello players using Suzuki Book 2 and above! Music Technology and Composition campers will explore music by writing their own pieces on computer, experiment with MIDI instruments, and will create their own electronic hybrid instruments. No previous experience with computers or keyboards is necessary. Supplies and materials will be provided, including computer generated manuscripts of student's compositions. Group and individual activities will be provided for students with a variety of backgrounds and interests.

Healthcare Diversity Summer Camp has been created to expose underrepresented high school students to the healthcare fields of: Pharmacy, Nursing, Dental Medicine, And more! We recognize that diverse representation of healthcare students translates to diverse representation in healthcare, which is vital to meet the growing needs of our local community, region, country and world. Camp is hosted on the SIUE campus, which allows students the opportunity to have firsthand experiences of college life and learn more about all SIUE has to offer. There is no cost to attend, and camp is open to rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors from Illinois and Missouri. Free of charge to participants.
