Features artifacts from the Civil War, urban legends, and notable past residents. The museum has a clothing exhibit that displays dresses from the 19th century. Allows kids to discover the people, places and events that influenced our ancestors and continue to shape our destiny.

A town for adults with developmental disabilities. There are homes, jobs, a recreation center with pool, a dining facility, an equestrian center, shops, a pavilion, medical services, therapies, and more. There are a variety of opportunities for groups and individuals.
Collinsville Historical Museum (Collinsville)
This museum features a diverse array of exhibits, including local sports history, Civil War artifacts, and a mounted animal and bird display. Artifacts date back to 1767. There are exhibits about the city’s founders, history of the Police and Fire departments, and the city’s history of coal mining.
Dream Center of Alton (Alton)
The programs offered at The Dream Center of Alton provide services and referrals to “Returning Citizens” from state, local, and government facilities. They work with the family members affected through incarceration with faith-based wraparound services.

A 501c3 non profit that serves those facing homelessness or experiencing a time of need. Provides resources through a mobile outreach program.
I Support the Girls (Edwardsville)
Collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.

National Great Rivers Museum (Alton)
Features kid-friendly, interactive and computer animated exhibits. Kids learn about wildlife that lives near and in water. There is an aquarium displaying fish that inhabit the river.

Meets Thursdays at 12pm at the First Christian Church in Edwardsville. Club events and initiatives include the Edwardsville Rotary Criterium, Citrus Sales and the lemonade stand at the Route 66 festival.
Single Women Emergency Assistance Program (Madison County)

A group of women who come together, on a quarterly basis, to give to a local nonprofit. Members are welcome to bring their daughters to witness collective giving and can volunteer to help with set-up, registration, or ballot boxes.
