Allison’s Angel Gowns (Hamel)
Take gently used wedding gowns and transform them into gowns for angel babies. Gowns are offered free of charge to anyone who loses a child. Allison's Angel Gowns usually accepts gently used wedding dresses that are no more than 20 years old. They could use sewing materials or monetary donations. They are looking for skilled seamstresses to help.

Amazing Grace at Logan Place (Edwardsville)
A mentoring program teaching life skills in the home, professional life, and in relationships.  Every Saturday volunteers come to help with renovation of the mansion.

Boy Scouts (Collinsville/Edwardsville/Hamel/Bethalto)

Scouting is a youth-led, youth-run program, but the youth must be trained to be leaders. Adult role models in Scouting provide an ideal learning experience for all youth. Every adult volunteer has something valuable to offer. 

​Children's Home + Aid

Christian Activity Center (Fairmont City)
Offers classrooms, a computer lab, and kitchen area. We offer after school tutoring and activities to all children grades K – 12. Volunteers help with tutoring and run movie nights, game nights, and crafts. 

Dream Center of Alton (Alton)
The programs offered at The Dream Center of Alton provide services and referrals to “Returning Citizens” from state, local, and government facilities. They work with the family members affected through incarceration with faith-based wraparound services. 

Edwardsville Children's Museum (Edwardsville)
Closed due to Corona

The Children's Museum has exhibits with varying themes to allow for creative play.  Including a market, art studio, florist, custard cart, and hospital. Outdoor play areas includes a garden, play stage, paint station, slide, and more! 

Equipping the Called (Troy)
Provide clothing, undies/diapers, and toiletries for children through foster parents, those in Safe Families, children identified by law enforcement, school administrators, medical staff or clergy in Southern Illinois.  Volunteers can sort clothes, act as a personal shopper, prepare items for pick-up, and do light housekeeping.

​Homework Help and Hoops (Collinsville)
Designed to help students finish their homework and be tutored one-on-one in the subject areas where they need help. On average, they service 50 children during the school year and 86 children a day at Summer Camp.

Kellsie’s Hope Foundation (Collinsville)
Provides hope to families that have children suffering from cancer by offering support for trips and gifts that might otherwise be unattainable. Also raises awareness and funds to support research and education of healthcare providers with a nursing scholarship.

Mid-Town Moms (Alton & Granite City)
Helps children who are living in shelters with an age appropriate wrapped gift on their birthday. We may also help with School supplies, school clothes, Christmas toys, and we events for families throughout the year.  Local shelters and outreach programs provide them with the first name, age, gender and birthdate of the child in need.  A few days prior to the child's birthday, a birthday gift is delivered to the director of the shelter or outreach facility and in turn given to the child.

Refuge (Wood River)
A trauma-informed, holistic program provided out of Riverbend Family Ministries for families with children ages 0-11 who have experienced the trauma of violence, abuse, and neglect.
